LAGOS, Nigeria – Guaranty Trust Holding Company’s (GTCO) annual fashion event, GTCO Fashion Weekend, has officially opened applications for the 2025 event.
Applications are open to models, fashion entrepreneurs, and media personnel, and the event will take place on November 8th and 9th, 2025.
Model Casting
The model casting for the GTCO Fashion Weekend 2025 is being conducted virtually again this year to reach talent across the continent. Aspiring models, aged 18 and above and at least 5 ft. 9 inches tall, can apply by posting a video of their catwalk on Instagram or TikTok.
The video should include the hashtag #GTCOFASHIONWEEKEND. Models should wear a white tank top, blue jeans, and heels, with no makeup, filters, or beautification effects.
The application period for models runs from September 2nd to September 15th, 2025.
Retail Stall Registration
The event also provides a platform for fashion businesses. Interested small business owners can register for a free retail space to showcase their products to a global audience. This initiative aims to promote enterprise and expand the reach of indigenous fashion businesses. Applications for stalls are typically announced on the official GTCO Fashion Weekend website.
Masterclasses and Media Accreditation
In addition to runway shows and retail stalls, the GTCO Fashion Weekend offers masterclasses with fashion leaders and industry experts. The event also provides an opportunity for media personalities to apply for press passes to cover the event.
