ASABA, Nigeria – Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and his wife, Edith have tested positive to the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
The governor made the revelation on the social media few minutes ago. He said he and his wife are now on medication in the isolation centres, hoping to recover.
“My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter”, he said in a statement.
The governor and his wife are testing positive few days after one of their daughters tested positive to the virus.
Shortly after announcing the development, the governor and his wife proceeded on self isolation.
