GOLDEN EAGLETS LIFT CUP WITH 3-0 WIN OVER MEXICO

The Golden Eaglets on Friday defeated defending champions, Mexico 3-0 to lift the FIFA Under 17 tournament at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirate. The Nigerian team had earlier-on tamed the Mexican lad 6-1 at the group stage.

The first goal came in the first half when the Mexican team caved in to pressure leading to a home goal. The two other goals were scored in second half.

Sweden earlier on walloped Argentina 4-1.
