LAGOS, Nigeria – Nollywood actress, Gloria Anozie Young is 50 and she is celebrating it in her own special way. She is not only celebrating 50 years, she is equally celebrating 15 years in Nollywood.
Gloria Anozie has come a long way. She is one of those who grew what is today known as Nollywood from nothing into the envy it is today.
She started with the English film, Living in Bondage, shot by Ken Nebue, who today holds the credit as father of Nollywood.
She featured in other films but politics in Nollywood seemed to have confined her to the Yoruba genre.
But she is doing fine in Nollywood and blessed with a husband in Nobert Young, who is one of the arrowheads in Edge of Paradise.
He seems to have carved a niche for himself in soaps featuring on Mnet.
