DOHA, UAE – The Black Stars of Ghana demonstrated superior strength  against South Korea at the ongoing Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in Doha.

The black stars of Ghana hungry for a win to remain in the tournament came into the encounter ready for the kill. Their attitude paid up in the 24th minutes when M. Salisu beat the South Korean goal keeper to put his side 1-0 ahead.

Kudus made it 2-0 for the Black Stars ten minutes later when he connected a fine pass from  J. Ayew to put his side in a comfortable lead at half time.

The South Koreans came into the second half determined to undo the damage. But how far could they go?

Respite came in the 58th minutes when J Gue-sung pulled one back, after connecting a pass from his teammate, Kang-in to reduce the goal tally to  2-1.  That was not all.

Gue-Sung was on target for the second time three minutes later, at exactly the 62 minutes, following a good combination with J. Kim, bringing the score line to 2-2 draw, a development that further buoyed the South Korean for more action.

But luck was not on their side as Kudus for the second time took his Black Stars beyond the reach of the Koreans, when his combination with Williams made it 3-2,  and in the process nailing the final curfew for the South Koreans.
