BERLIN – German online fashion firm Zalando is cutting hundreds of jobs due to a slowdown in sales.
“This programme will involve many parts of Zalando, including at the senior leadership level,” read a company letter, seen by dpa on Tuesday.
“We don’t yet have full clarity on the impact on each area, but we do know that our frontline operations roles in logistics centres, customer care and outlets stores, as well as operational roles in our Zalando Studios, will not be affected.”
Zalando has around 17,000 employees.
