EDO, Benin, Nigeria – Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki today received former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar at the Edo State Government House in Benin. He was received by the governor and members of his cabinet.
Abdulsalami visited the governor just few days after reports emerged that the governor is at loggerhead with with his predecessor and current Chairman of All Progressive Congress(APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole over his second term ambition.
But Obaseki had said that there was no rift between him and Adams Oshiomhole.
