GAZA, Palestine – THE military chief of Hamas says “Israel” has “failed” to achieve its goals in the two-year war and is now begging for the fighting to stop.

In an explosive interview, Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, the Head of Hamas in Gaza, boasted that the “occupation” was left in a state of “disastrous and unprecedented failure” following the conflict.

The terror leader also suggested the US knew the war was over, referencing President Donald Trump’s past statements.

Dr. Al-Hayya told Al-Jazeera: “The occupation failed to achieve its goals over two years of war.”

He added: “President Trump said the war was over, and every day we hear American statements that the war is over.”

The Hamas chief went on to detail the gruesome mechanics of the recent ceasefire deal.

He claimed his group handed over 20 “Israeli” captives just 72 hours after the deal was agreed.

Even more disturbingly, he admitted to handing over the bodies of 17 dead captives but said they were still searching for the rest.

”We handed over 17 out of 28 bodies of the occupation’s captives,” he confirmed.

Dr. Al-Hayya stated that new areas would be searched on Sunday to find the remaining bodies of those kidnapped during the bloody conflict.

In a shock revelation, Dr. Al-Hayya disclosed details of private meetings with top US officials, including former Trump aides Jason Greenblatt and Jared Kushner.

He chillingly claimed that he told the pair that Hamas “are advocates of stability” and that “President Trump is capable of restraining the ‘Israeli’ occupation.”

Amid the claims of victory, the terror boss also made a major concession, saying Hamas is ready to hand over administrative power in the devastated strip.

He announced: “We will hand over all reins of administration in the Gaza Strip, including security, to the administration committee.”

Crucially, he indicated the terror group would accept a massive international presence, stating they would allow UN forces to be installed in Gaza as separation forces, border monitors, and ceasefire observers.

He stressed that Hamas’s weapons were linked to the existence of the “occupation,” dramatically adding: “If the occupation ends, this weapon will devolve to the state.”
