GAZA, Palestine – The United Nations Relief Workers Agency, UNRWA has warned that Gaza City is becoming a barren land unfit for human habitation where children are starving.
UNRWA also noted that ten of its facilities in Gaza have been hit by Israel as it intensifies operation in Gaza City.
Since dawn at least 108 Palestinians have been killed while 17 homes and buildings were destroyed in Gaza City.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has deepened ground push into Gaza City’s core alongside intensive air and artillery strikes, including western areas where many had taken shelter.
Multiple areas were hit, including a tent housing two now martyred journalists in al‑Nasr.
There were attacks near Rantisi Children’s Hospital, Tel al‑Hawa where the al-Dhafer 5 tower was hit and buildings were demolished.
At least 24 people were killed in drone attacks
at al‑Zaytoun/Shama‘a, Sheikh Radwan, al‑Daraj and the al‑Shati camp.
Ambulances could not reach the wounded in several areas.
Explosions were also reported by the gates of the al‑Shifa Medical Complex, and the army detonated booby-trapped armored vehicles among homes in southern neighborhoods.
