BADAGRY, Lagos, Nigeria –  There was a terrible drama in Lagos on Monday when Fulani herdsmen pursued and killed a danfo bus conductor over the death of one  cow.

A 22 seater commercial bus with Lagos colours had ran into a white how and in the process killed the cow on the spot, forcing Fulani herdsmen at Buhari Estate to go on rampage.

The Fulani herdsmen according to an eye witness pursued the driver of the bus but when he outpaced them and escaped, they pounced on the conductor and killed him in broad day light.

The incident, we gathered occurred adjacent Buhari Estate in Badagry, the Iwo Extension.  The conductor was said to have been chased up to  the Police checkpoint in the area, where he was finally killed by the Fulani herdsmen, using daggers.

The Fulani herdsmen are embolden to carry out this dastard act despite the anti-open grazing law in Lagos State and the whole of Western Nigeria.
