SURULERE, Lagos Fuad Laguda of the All Progressives Congress, APC has emerged winner of the Surulere Federal Constituency Bye election held on Saturday.
Fuad Laguda polled a total of 11, 203 votes to defeat other candidates.
He will now replace Femi Gbajabiamila who has been appointed Chief Staff to President Bola Tinubu.
The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jerry Afemighie, came second with 278 votes while the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Adeola Adebanjo polled 240 to come third in the election.
