EDE, Osun, Nigeria – Former Governor of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adeleke is dead. The former governor was said to have died of heart attack in Ede, Osun State.
He was said to have developed seizure and was rushed to a private hospital in Ede where he was confirmed dead.
Born January 15, 1955, Adeleke was a two time senator. He was elected senator on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Osun State from 2007 to 2011 and was re-elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress in 2015.
As a muslim, he will be buried today.
