July 27, 2014 – At least five people were killed on Sunday when members of the radical Islamic sect Boko Haram bombed worshipers at Saint Charles Catholic Church, Kano State, just few days after attacking a popular bus park in Kano.

Members of the sect according police sources threw the improvised explosive device at worshipers as they were leaving a church in Nigeria’s main northern city of Kano.

The BBC reported that a young female suicide bomber also wounded five police officers as she rushed towards them and blew herself up in a separate incident.
