November 25, 2015 – At least one fireman is presently unconscious following gas explosion in Owode Onirin, a suburb of Lagos.
The incident according to Director of Fire, Lagos State, Dr. Rasaq Fadipe occurred early Wednesday evening. He said that officials of the Lagos State Fire Service are already on ground to tackle the incident, adding that the affected fireman fainted after inhaling poisonous fumes from the explosion.
He said that the Lagos State Ambulance Service has been informed as efforts are on to resuscitate the affected fireman.

Although, the number of casualty is yet to be determined, he said members of the public are also affected in the gas explosion.
