His son Seyi, who broke the news, Robinson was diabetic and had complained of dizziness before he was rushed to Ayodele Medical Centre in Fagba, Lagos where he later died on Wednesday May 20.

He said his father took ill on May 19, 2015 and that he had invited him to his apartment and asked him to go through a script.

“But while this was going on, he complained of dizziness and when we discovered that it could not be handled at home, we took him to Ayodele Medical Centre in Fagba Area of Lagos at about 2pm where he was placed on admission.

“When my dad’s condition became stable, we discussed about the script and he told me to help search for another script he had worked on at home. By the time I left the hospital at about 5pm that day (Wednesday May 20), we had discussed about a lot of things including a programme he was handling for UNILAG. I never knew that would be the last time I will see him alive.

“Actually, I was looking forward to seeing my father again, only to be called early in the morning that he complained of pain and was being attended to by the doctor. But he passed out,” Seyi narrated.
