ABUJA, Nigeria – Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode  who is rumoured to have defected to the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) has opened up.

Femi Fani –Kayode who was reacting to the rumour said he has not left the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) as is being rumoured in the online media.

According to him,  it is a season of political consultation, adding that though “we had meetings across party lines”, he  has not left the PDP.

“Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation I have not left the PDP”, he said on his twitter handle.

Femi Fani-Kayode has as part of his political consultations, visited former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.

“My team and I had the honor and privilege of spending a wonderful evening with President Goodluck Jonathan in his Abuja home last night. None like him”, he said of the former president of Nigeria.
