THREE teenagers have been charged in connection with the brutal stabbing of an 18-year-old on a London street.

Detectives investigating the murder of Maliki Sharma in Feltham revealed today that a 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder. Two other 16-year-olds are facing charges of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.

The trio, all from Hounslow, cannot be named for legal reasons.

Bloody Scenes
The horror unfolded on Monday, 12 January, when police were scrambled to Victoria Road at around 5:00 PM. Witnesses described a frantic scene as paramedics and the London Air Ambulance fought to save Maliki, who had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Tragically, he was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Court Appearances
The boy charged with murder appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded in custody. He is set to face a judge at the Old Bailey this Tuesday.

His two co-defendants appeared at separate hearings in Wimbledon and Uxbridge. They have been remanded into youth detention and will also appear at the Old Bailey on 17 February.

Community in Shock
Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo said:
”My thoughts remain with Maliki’s friends and family during this unimaginably difficult time.

We understand that this incident has been distressing for the local community.”
Locals have been warned to expect a “heavy police presence” in the coming days as officers attempt to calm tensions in the area.

A fourth man, Rhys Huskinson, 19, of North Road, Feltham, has also been caught up in the probe. Originally charged with affray, his charges were upgraded this week to attempted GBH. He is due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on 11 March.
