ADO-EKITI, Nigeria – Respite has finally come to workers of the Ekiti State University, following the decision of the State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose to rescind his decision to sack about 500 workers of the University for alleged wrongful employment.

The state government had terminated the employment of the workers who were wrongfully employed towards the end of the tenure of the former governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.




The governor, however gave the directive after a very long meeting with members of the University Governing Council yesterday.

He there after ordered that the employment of the about 500 workers should be regularised forthwith.
He also promised to release two months subvention to the University.
