October 2, 2014 – The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN has declared Monday, 6th and Tuesday, 7th October, 2014 as public holidays in the state in observance of this year’s Eid-El Kabir celebration.
According to a statement issued today in Alausa by the Head of Service, Mrs. Oluseyi Williams, the State Governor rejoices with all Public Servants especially Muslims brothers and sisters in the State on the occasion and enjoined them to continue to uphold the lessons of the season by making sure they rededicate themselves to the service of Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general.
The statement added that work will, however, resume on Wednesday, 8th October, 2014 at 8.00am.
