Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat who made the revelation at a press conference in Lagos said the pedestrian bridges would assist road users to traverse from one axis to another.
He said that contract for construction of the bridges has been awarded to Hitech Engineering which constructed the road.
On the disputed Osborne Jetty, the commissioner explained that a Lagos High Court has ruled on the issue, thus paving way for Lagos State Government to return to site.

He said that several projects in the state have either been stalled or slowed down by litigations.
He said that the Lagos State Government constructed 281 roads about 979 kilometres between 2011 and 2015 and that 201 roads, comprising 237 kilometres are ongoing.
