ONITSHA, Anambra – The immediate past Managing- Director of Anambra State  Signage and Advertisement Agency ANSAA Sir, Jude Emecheta has  called on the state governor Charles Soludo to deal ruthlessly with criminal element disturbing the state.

Jude Emecheta made the call during an occasion to pull out as an ANSAA MD  on Thursday evening in Awka Anambra state. Emecheta  started the agency and served for eight years, during which he made good innovations.

According to him, he will support every effort by the governor to deal with those people  terrorizing the state.

“If  we give the boys chance ,we will loose the war against recovering the state from hoodlums. If we allow them, we will be slaves in our land. The so called unknown gunmen , we know them and we must deal with them.

Soludo is prepared to smoke them out of their hidden places. We cannot allow people from outside the State  to destabilise the state” he said

According to him, those who said that Soludo is talking too much are not correct , noting that the governor has not started talking. He urged Ndi Anambra to support the governor for him to clean up the system and restore sanity in the state.

” People should support Soludo to  rid the state off criminal elements. These criminal are not from Anambra and should not  be allowed to destroy the state ” he said.

Speaking on ANSAA, he said the agency  has done well in the state and urged government to look into the law that established it. According to him, the agency’s law is fashioned after Lagos state advertising agency without considering the peculiarity in the state.

He said there is need to rejig the law of the agency in the  to take care of various locality in the state. He said that if ANSAA is properly rejiged it would generate over one billion naira to state government every year.

Emecheta said that the agency had been able to employ over 5000 youths in the state , thereby reducing unemployment in the state .
