UYO, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria – Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Emmanuel Udom appears to be coasting to victory based on results so far released by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC).
In the results so far released, Emmanuel Udom has secured a total of 518,002 votes in 30 local governments so far released while candidate of the All Progressive Congress(APC) and Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC), Mr. Nsima Ekere secured 167, 306 votes, with just six local governments to go.
With the present results, Emmanuel Udom now leads by a margin of 350, 696 votes.
