PARIS, France – Thirty-nine year old Mr. Emmanuel Macron of En Marche Party was on sunday elected President of France.




The President-elect scored 66.06 percent of the votes to defeat Marine Lepen of the National Front Party who scored 33.94 percent.

In his victory speech, Macron promised to guarantee the unity of the nation, defend and protect Europe,.

“Tonight you won, France won. Everyone told us it was impossible, but they don’t know France,” he said.
In her speech, Ms Le Pen said her National Front party needed to renew itself and that she would start deep transformation of the movement ahead of the parliamentary elections.

Macron studies Philosophy at Paris Natarre University. He also has a Masters degree in Public Affairs . He was born December 21, 1977
