March 27, 2015 – Inspector General of Police, (IGP), Mr. Suleiman Abba has ordered redeployment of senior police officers throughout the federation as part of efforts to ensure a peaceful and non-violent election.
A statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu explained that the essence is to re-position the police force for a successful conduct of the 2015 general elections.
The IGP directed all officers to exhibit the highest level of personal and professional conduct in the discharge of their duties.
Below is a list of officers affected and their new posting for the purpose of the election.
