DOHA, Qatar – Morocco this evening made Africa very proud, when it held on to 1-0 lead in the 42nd minutes against Portugal  to move into the semi finals at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

With the feat, Morocco has become the first African team to move into the semi final beating hard fighting Portugal with the one of the best players in the world, Ronaldo.

Ronaldo wept profusely that his team has been sent out of the tournament by an African team, most unexpected at this stage of the soccer fiesta.

Morocco went into the lead in the 42nd minutes through a flying header by Youssef En-Nesyri who connected a  very high ball from his team, throwing the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha into an ecstasy.

The team held on to the goal even when it was reduced to 10 men few minutes to the end of the crucial encounter.
