UGHELLI, Delta, Nigeria – One of the most sophisticated internet fraudster, Akegor Godbless Omamuyorwi has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).
He was arrested at his classic residence in Ughelli, Delta State, where he was living like royal father.
Items recovered from him so far include a Lexus SUV with registered plate number Prince M2M, Hiaunda Acura with registered plate number Prince M1M.
He was arrested by the Benin Zonal office of the commission. Omamuyorwi is believed to be one of the leading kingpin of internet fraud in Delta State.
“FRAUDSTER-IN-CHIEF EFCC Arrests Delta Chief for Internet Fraud Operatives of the Benin Zonal Office yesterday arrested a 34 year old suspected internet fraud kingpin, Akegor Godbless Omamuyorwi at his palatial home in Ughelli, Delta State”, EFCC said on the social media.
