SOKOTO, Nigeria – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has arrested two Chinese nationals for offering officials the commission the total sum of N100 million.

The two Chinese,  Mr. Meng Wei Kun and Mr. Xu Koi offered the money to Zonal Head of the EFCC in Sokoto, Mr. Abdullahi Lawal.

The EFCC has paraded the officials with their money offered.

“EFCC Arrests Two Chinese For Offering N100m Bribe To Its Top Officer The Sokoto Zonal Office of the EFCC, has arrested two Chinese: Mr. Meng Wei Kun and Mr. Xu Koi for offering a sum of N50,000,000 as bribe to its Zonal Head, Mr. Abdullahi Lawal”, EFCC said on Twitter.

The Chinese officials will soon be charged to court for bribery and related offence.
