ABUJA, Nigeria – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has extradited two young Nigerians, the Ogochi siblings to the United States of America for alleged child exploitation and sextortion.

The two brothers, Samuel and Samson Ogochi, were accused of sexually extorting young men and teenage boys in the Western District of Michigan and across the United States.

EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren said in a statement that the EFCC sometimes in May initiated extradition proceedings at the Federal High Court, Abuja against the Ogochis and Ezekiel Ejemeh Robert.

He added that the proceedings were kickstarted at the behest of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, over their alleged exploitation of minors and production of pornography by the three suspects.

According to him, “The Ogochis and Ezekiel were indicted in a United States Federal High Court on December 1, 2022 on charges of exploitation of minors, resulting in the death of minors by causing the minors to produce child ponorgraphic images that the defendants now used to blackmail them.

“They are further charged with conspiracy to distribute child pornography which borders on sending images to minors, their families and friends as well as conspiracy to commit stalking through the internet”, he said.

Specifically, Samuel was charged with causing the death of 17 year old Jordan DeMay of Marquette, Michigan, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in March 2022.

“According to investigations, the suspects conspired to conduct sex based extortion of adults and in the United States of America. The trio allegedly hacked some social media accounts, posing to be young attractive women to entice unsuspecting victims to send their sexually explicit photographs. These pictures were then used on the victims, thereby forcing them into making huge financial payments”, he said.
