IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC today rearraigned one Lukman Tijani and his company, Al-monsur Venture before a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja for stealing.




According to EFCC, the convict collected N3 million urom one Seyid Alliy to facilitate 2013 hajj operation but converted it to personal use.

He was rearraigned following an application by counsel to the defendant, Mr. Akinsanya at the resumption of the trial.

The prosecutor, Mr. Mk Bashir who did not opposed the application urged the court to allow the registrar read the charge to the defendant.

Lukman Tijani who had earlier pleaded not guilty to two count charge change his plea to guilty.

After rearraignment, the presiding Judge, Justice Josephine Oyefeso adjourned sentencing till January 16.
