US, May 4, 2016 – Eddie Murphy, noted for his comic role in ‘Coming to America’ and several other films has fathered a baby girl, through Paige Butcher , his 36 year old girlfriend.
They both had the baby on Tuesday morning, his publicist and actor, Arnold Robinson said in a statement, adding that both mother and daughter are doing well.
The baby is the first child the 55 years old comic actor is having with Butcher. He has already named the child, Izzy Oona Murphy.
Prior to this baby, Murphy had eight other children. The prolific actor had five children with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell.
Murphy was honoured last year with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor for his work in film and stand-up.
