LAGOS, Nigeria – The heroic exploits of 1940 on the beach of Dunkirk has been made into a movie, Dunkirk directed by the award winning d Christopher Nollas.
It is loaded with an amazing cast, including Harry Styles, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Bobby LockWood, Charley Palmer Rothwell and Jack Lowden.
The movie was initially released in London 13th July 2017 and screened in Lagos, Nigeria at cinema(Genesis Deluxe, Vip screen 8, the palms, Victoria island Lagos.) 17th July 2017.
It is a story based on the 1940 advancement of Germany into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk.
But British and French forces were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French, British, Belgian and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.
