ABUJA, Nigeria – The suspended chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa has arrived office of the Department of State Service based on invitation.
He was invited following his suspension by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and since his arrival, he has been under interrogation for hours.
In a statement, Public Relations Officer of the DSS, Dr. Peter Afunanya said his invitation relates to some investigation into activities concerning him.
“The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bawa arrived a few hours ago.
“The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him”, Peter Afunanya Ph.D said in the statement.
