NEW HAMPSHIRE – Former President of the United States, Donald Trump has won the primaries in New Hampshire.
Donald Trump secured 163, 396 votes, that is 54.61 percent of total vote cast to defeat Nick Haley who polled 129,104 votes, 43.15 percent of the total votes.
Speaking at the close of poll, Trump said he is honoured by the result.
On her part, Nick Haley congratulated Trump on his victory. ” He earned it and I want to acknowledge that”, she said.
She however said it is not over for her.
“Now you’ve all heard the chatter among the political class. They are falling all over. Well, I have news for all of them. New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not last in the nation. This race is far from over”, she said.
