June 9, 2015 – Hon Yakubu Dogara of the All Progressive Congress(APC) today emerged Speaker of the House of Representatives. He emerged against the APC’s preferred candidate of Femi Gbajabiamila.
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) however endorsed Dogara for the election.
He was elected this afternoon. Details later.
