DEADLY WIFE BEATER: WE ONLY ARGUED ABOUT MONEY

Nigeria, May 10, 2016 – Notorious wife beater, Lekan Shonde is now cooling his head behind bars at Force CID, Panti waiting to be charged to court.

The alleged murderer turned himself in on Monday morning when he visited, Commander of the Lagos State crime fighting outfit, Rapid Response Squad, Tunde Disu.

He was later interrogated by Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni before he was transferred to Force CID, Panti.

He turned himself in after hiding for so many days. He is alleged to have beaten his wife Ronke for cheating on him.
The account of Lekan however seems different from most of what is in circulation.

According to Coordinator, Women Arise, Dr. Joe Oke-Odumakin,
#LekanShonde said he woke up Friday morning, saw Ronke lying on their three-seater, gave her money to cook & went to work.

#LekanShonde’s account did not link the alleged infidelity to why he “slapped” Ronke on Thursday. He stated argument about money, instead.

L#LekanShonde gave account of certain antecedents, he alleged infidelity, then said “I only slapped her and went to work”.
