LAGOS, Nigeria – Popular Nigerian singer, Davido and his entourage today paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Idowu Owohunwa over his Timeless concert coming up at the Tafawa Balewa Square on Saturday, April 23, 2023.
Davido is staging the concert after the release of his latest album, Timeless. Davido met with the CP to get security assurance ahead of the concert.
Speaking during the visit, CP Owohunwa assured the musician and Lagosians of their safety during the concert taking place at the Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS.
The CP said the Lagos State Police command is totally committed to the security of Lagosians, even at the concert, he said. It is expected that the arena will be jampacked during the Timeless concert. Davido has 27 million followers globally, most of them in Nigeria, who will possibly grace the concert.
Besides singing, Davido is a philanthropist and a very disciplined musician.
He has showed a total commitment to his wife, Chioma, whom he talks about regularly and featured prominently in his latest album, Timeless.
