MOSCOW – A 13-year-old schoolboy has tragically died after choking on a pie while playing a twisted game of Truth or Dare in Russia.
The teenager was attempting a dangerous food challenge during the party game, where the dare was to eat a pastry “as fast as he could”.
The horrifying incident unfolded in the town of Nartkala. Witnesses watched in terror as the schoolboy quickly began to struggle, unable to swallow the food as he rushed to complete the task.
He tragically succumbed to the ordeal, with initial reports suggesting the cause of death was asphyxia, or choking, after the pie became fatally lodged in his throat.
An investigation has now been launched into the devastating incident, which saw a seemingly harmless party game turn into a deadly tragedy.
