LAGOS, Nigeria – Fast rising musician, Ajibola Oluwamuyiwa Danaladi alias Danny Young has slammed a N205 million suit on screen diva, Tiwatope Savage, better known as Tiwa Savage and Marvin Records for infringing on his copyright.
In the suit marked FHC/L/CS/230/19, filed at the Federal High Court Lagos, dated 13th day of Feb., 2019, the plaintiff is seeking a declaration that by copying, performing, recording, reproducing and communicating to the public and broadcasting of the literary works, music lyrics authored and owned by the plaintiff without lawful authorisation, the defendants infringed on the copyright of the plaintiff.
He is seeking the sum of N200 million as damages for the said infringement and cost in the sum of N5 million.
He is also seeking an order restraining the plaintiffs from futher infringement of his rights.
