January 21, 2016 – Former Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles, Daniel Amokachi has been hired by Js Hercules of Finland as an assistant coach.
While making the announcement on its website, the club said Amokachi will work with head coach Pekka H as an assistant coach adding that it is an annual contract.
Amokachi who was a very potent striker in his days as a player for Nigeria is seen as a role model for young football players in Africa.
Club’s Chairman, Kumar is very happy signing the Nigerian striker and sees it as a big step forward.
“It opens our new perspectives and shakes us out of the familiar layouts”, he said.
