IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria– CWA World Heavyweight Champion, Rev. John Eke Uti, better known as Power Uti has been arrested in connection with the death of his wife, Toyin.
Toyin reportedly died in his Ilupeju home when her situation became critical. But instead of taking her to the hospital, the wrestler reportedly sort spiritual help in the church.
Toyin, 38, has four children who are under the age of nine.Her body has been deposited at the Isolo General Hospital, while her four children are reported to be with her mother.
Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed that Uti has been arrested and detained at the Ilupeju Police Station and that he could be transferred to the Criminal Investigative Department, Panti in Lagos.
