CP MankorCommissioner of Police, Lagos State, Mr. Umaru Manko has vowed to go after sponsors and those involved in gang wars in Lagos state.

The commissioner made the vow while speaking with State House Correspondent in Lagos. He said security agencies would henceforth go after the perpetrators with the aim of putting a stop to the act. There have been reports of gang wars orchestrated by cultists in places like Mushin, Bariga, Shomolu, Lagos Island leading to lose of lives.

“From today, they should have a rethink because if they don’t, they would face the consequences, that is the punishment”, he added.

Also present during the briefing were the State Director, State Security Service (SSS), Mr Achu Ben Olayi, Commander, NNS Beecroft, Apapa, Navy Commodore Chris Ezekobe, Commander, 9 Brigade Ikeja, Brigadier Ohifeme Ejemai, representative of Commander, 435 Base Services Group, Air Commodore Najeem Sanusi and Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Major Tunde Panox(rtd).
