LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 123 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 169, 329. But out of the 169, 329 cases, 164, 672 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 126 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 2,531 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic.

There are now 189, 830, 985 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 4,079, 326 patients are no more while 3, 595, 074, 954 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered globally based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 34,064, 815 confirmed cases, while 608, 870 lives have perished(18, 378 new cases and 104 deaths*), followed by India which has reported 31, 064, 908 confirmed cases, while 413,091 patients have died(38, 079 new cases and 560 deaths*) and Brazil which has reported 19, 308, 109 all time cases, while 540, 398 lives have perished(45, 591 new cases and 1456 deaths*).
France has come up as the 4th country worst hit, reporting 5, 917, 397 all time cases, while 111, 657 patients are no more(10, 976 new cases and 16 deaths*), followed by Russia with 5, 860, 113 confirmed cases, while 145, 222 patients have perished(24, 590 new cases and 776 deaths*) and Turkey which has documented 5, 522, 039 confirmed cases, while 50, 488 lives are no more(14, 584 new cases and 73 deaths*).
The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 5, 407, 278 all time cases, while 128, 958 others have kicked the bucket(54, 670 new cases and 45 deaths*) , followed by Argentina which has registered 4, 737, 213 all time infections, while 101, 158 patients are already dead(17, 261 new cases and 463 deaths*), followed by Colombia, which has reported 4, 601, 335 confirmed cases, while 115,333 patients have been killed by the pandemic(17, 893 new cases and 500 deaths*).
Italy has come up as the 10th country most affected, now reporting 4, 284, 332 all time cases, while 127, 864 patients have died(3118 new cases and 13 deaths*) and South Africa(18) among countries most afflicted, reporting 2, 283, 880 all time cases, while 66, 676 patients are no more(14, 701 new cases and 291 deaths*) .
