COMMUTERS MOVE IN CANOE AS HEAVY RAIN TURNS VICTORIA ISLAND INTO LAGOON, SEE VIDEO

VICTORIA ISLAND, Lagos, Nigeria – The non-stop heavy rain which has hit Lagos State in the last four days is beginning to impact negatively on residents of Lagos State.

One of such areas is Victoria Island, Lagos where canoe has become a means of transportation between Silverbird Galleria, which now houses Silverbird Television and Rhythm Radio stations and the NTA.

The road was completely flooded this morning up to the waist leaving many to turn to use of canoe. Just watch and share this video produced by my friend, Tobiloba Loto.
