MINNA, Niger, Nigeria – Former Nigerian Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida retd has said that citizens of any country that are not happy about the way they are being governed have rights to protest.

IBB who has commented on any issue in Nigeria took to the social media to air his view, stressing that protesting is not an aberration in democracy.

“Any citizen who is not happy with his or her government have a right to protest for his/her needs in a democratic system of government”, he said.
