LAGOS, Nigeria – One of the greatest musician to come of Nigeria, Chris Mba, known for the hit song, ‘Baby Don’t Cry’ is dead . He passed on Wednesday.
Chris Mba was one of the musicians that held sway in the 80s with the likes of Rev. Chris Okotie, Christy Essien, Majek Fashek and host of others.
Chris Mba was in his 60s.

His wife, who confirmed the development said he died on Wednesday at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH. He is said to have died from complications arising from kidney problem
Reacting to the development, his colleague Bob Ejike said Chris Mba and himself were signed into Jae Solo Productions Lookhere at Okolo Street, Onitsha by Orits Wiliki.
He prayed for god to grant his family the strength to bear the loss.
