ANDONI IRAOLA toasted his 100th Premier League game in the dugout with a clinical masterclass as Bournemouth piled more misery on basement-club Wolves.

A wonder-strike from French teenage sensation Eli Junior Kroupi and a late sealer from Alex Scott ensured the Cherries walked away with a 2-0 win, leaving the Molineux faithful heading for the exits long before the final whistle.

For Wolves, this was more than just a defeat—it felt like a wake. With the club rooted to the bottom of the table, the pre-match talk was dominated by the potential exit of star man Jorgen Strand Larsen.

The Norwegian striker, a target for Crystal Palace, started on the bench and looked a shadow of himself when he finally appeared, missing a glaring late chance that summed up Wolves’ toothless afternoon.

The visitors took the lead in the 33rd minute through a moment of pure Gallic flair. Alex Scott—who ran the show in midfield—danced past Joao Gomes before finding Amine Adli.

The Moroccan’s deft flick invited Kroupi to have a go, and the 19-year-old didn’t disappoint.

With a touch that sat the ball up perfectly, Kroupi unleashed a dipping, swerving volley from 20 yards that left Jose Sa clawing at thin air. It was Kroupi’s eighth goal of a breakthrough campaign, a tally only bettered by Nicolas Anelka as a French teen in England.

The hosts did have their moments, but a lack of composure in the final third was their undoing. Mateus Mane thought he’d opened the scoring early on, only for the linesman’s flag to dampen the celebrations.

In the second half, Tolu Arokodare fired a golden opportunity straight at Djordje Petrovic, and Gomes saw a header rattle the post.

But as Wolves threw the kitchen sink at the Bournemouth goal, they left the back door wide open.

The knockout blow arrived in stoppage time.

Bournemouth debutant Rayan made an instant impact off the bench, showing “leggy flair” to skip to the byline and fizz a low cross into the danger zone. Alex Scott, the architect of so much of Bournemouth’s play, was there to tap home and spark wild celebrations in the away end.

While Iraola celebrated a century of games with a smile, Wolves boss Rob Edwards was left to face the music. With the transfer window slamming shut, Molineux is a house on fire—and they are running out of water fast.
