LAGOS, Nigeria – The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN has reversed cash withdrawal limit of bank account holders from N100,000 to N20,000 daily.
The CBN made the reversal in a director to banks and financial institutions telling them to limit withdrawal to N20,000 daily henceforth.
This is taking place even as the Senate has directed the apex bank to extend the deadline for the swap of old Naira notes to the new designed Naira notes.
Ironically, it was the politicians that are championing the call for the extension of the new Naira Notes.
However, the CBN has said that it will note extend deadline.
