LAGOS, Nigeria – Soldiers are on rampage and visably angry that the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu arrested their colleague, on errand who was walking in his footsteps.
One of the soldiers now at the United Nations described the governor as operating below class following the way and manner he arrested his colleague whom he said was on errand and shouting like a tout, comparing his behaviour with the respectful way former governor of Lagos, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola arrested a Colonel on BRT lane in Lagos.
All the soldiers who reacted are miffed that the soldier, is now carrying an iron brace in his arm after surviving encounters with Boko Haram, which one of them alleged was created by associates of the governor.
They believe the soldier deserves a second chance after his apology and identification as a force man.
They are angry that the governor is messing them up after using them for their dirty jobs during election.
They called on him to learn his lesson from the likes of the late former governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida and others.
They believe that the Governor’s day of reckoning is around the corner.
