YOBE, Nigeria – SUICIDE bomber Ibrahim Mohammed has revealed the chilling price of human life after confessing he was paid just £45 to massacre worshippers in a cold-blooded holiday attack.
The monster, captured by elite troops and local hunters in Yobe state, admitted he received payments ranging from N70,000 to N100,000—the equivalent of roughly £32 to £45—for each deadly mission he carried out for Boko Haram.
In a stomach-churning confession, Mohammed detailed how he and an accomplice sneaked into the Gamboru Market Mosque in Maiduguri during the festive period.
The pair posed as worshippers to plant two high-powered improvised explosive devices (IEDs) while the building was empty between prayer sessions.
”We entered pretending to pray,” the remorseless killer told interrogators.
“My colleague was digging to plant the IED in the middle of the mosque while I was digging by the side.”
The terrorists timed the devices for five minutes, waiting for the Maghrib evening prayers to begin. As the faithful finished their first raka’at, the mosque was ripped apart by a massive blast that killed five people and left 32 others fighting for their lives.
But the horror did not end with the explosion. Mohammed revealed that in a sick twist, he returned to the blood-soaked scene to “help” the emergency services.
”When I returned to the mosque, they were evacuating dead bodies,” he said.
“I helped them to convey the corpses and injured people in emergency vehicles.”
Despite his claims of “regret” after seeing the carnage, the jihadist was already planning his next bloodbath.
He was tracked down to a hideout in Damaturu, where he was conducting reconnaissance on military positions and local hunters.
Intelligence sources say Mohammed is part of a wider “suicide cell” led by a notorious bomb expert known as Munzir Abu Ziyadah. It is feared up to ten “human bombs” have been prepared at a mountain terror camp to strike markets and mosques across North-East Nigeria.
The captured bomber confirmed the threat remains high, admitting that more attackers have already been deployed to major towns to continue the wave of terror.
