ABUJA, Nigeria – President Muhammadu Buhari today approved reduction in the cost of buying the forms of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) and those of the National Examinations Council (NECO) and Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) and the Basic Education Certificate Examination.




Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu announced the decision during the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday. He said the change in the cost will take effect from January 2019.

The new rates approved by the President are N3,500 for JAMB, while NECO will now cost N9,850 per form.
